Entry Requirements: Nil.
USI: A USI (Unique Student Identifier) number is required for all accredited training in Australia. If you do not provide a USI number we may not be able to issue a Certificate/Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of training.

Course Physicality: A level of fitness and stamina is required to complete the CPR practical assessment by spending extended periods of time on your knees at floor level.
Competencies: HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel.
Duration: 3.5 hours face to face plus 1 hour pre-course theory assessment (self paced).
Mode of Delivery: Face to face in the classroom (3.5 hours) plus pre-course theory assessment (1 hour).
Assessment Will Include: Written/Oral Questions, Practical Assessments & Scenario Based Assessments.
Reasonable Adjustment: FRA supports learners with recognised disabilities and makes adjustments, where possible, according to each individuals need. The level of adjustment required is determined on a case by case basis between FRA and the learner with a disability. FRA ensures any Reasonable Adjustment does not compromise the integrity of the competency standards.
COVID-19 Precautions:
FRA promotes safety for our staff and the community. We encourage our students to utilise masks when engaging in close contact activites within our classes. FRA has installed specialised virus air filtration systems in our classrooms to ensure a safer environment.
- Our class size is reduced to 18 participants, so 'physical distancing' can be maintained.
- Each participant will have their own sanitised full body 'Advanced Airway' manikin and Infant manikin.
- Each of the manikins have been sanitised prior to use, including the face skins.
- Each student will have there own 2 way bacterial filter for use in resuscitation.
- Ample masks, gloves, alcohol wipes and sanitising gel are provided for your safety and convenience.
- All First Aid supplies such as bandages, dressings etc. are new and are not re-used.
- Full body manikins with moulage are provided for our bandaging workshops to eliminate person to person contact to comply with 'physical distancing' principles.
- We have suspended the use of coffee and tea making facilities, again to maintain 'physical distancing'.
Dress Code: Please wear closed in shoes and comfortable clothing to enable you to kneel down on the floor for extended periods of time.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the program your electronic Statement of Attainment will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
Re-Certification: We recommend that these units be renewed every 12 months.
